Civil mediation can happen before or during a lawsuit, with or without attorneys present. A neutral mediator helps the parties communicate and reach their own agreements.

Why choose a counselor-mediator for civil disputes
Many civil disputes involve relationships that continue afterward. These can include family businesses, estates, neighbors, and congregations. A counselor's understanding of emotions, motives, and effective communication can help people be heard.
Julie stays neutral throughout. She does not take sides, advocate, or predict outcomes. The parties make their own decisions.

Separate rooms
Caucus or shuttle sessions, so the parties do not have to be in the same room.

Call the Babb Center and ask to be referred to Julie Witt. She will call you back and outline how mediation can lead to progress. Julie can unlock and unblock situations.
