Julie believes every person in a conflict deserves to be heard and treated with dignity. As a counselor at the Babb Center, she has walked alongside individuals and couples through conflict, loss, family transitions, and parenting challenges. As a mediator, she brings that same steadiness to a different role: a neutral guide who helps people move from impasse toward agreements they create themselves.
Her counseling background, including Adlerian psychology, Emotion Focused Therapy, attachment theory, and Motivational Interviewing, helps her recognize the emotions that often sit underneath a dispute. Her Rule 31 training keeps the process structured, fair, and focused on resolution.
Julie has been married for 30 years and is a mother and grandmother. She enjoys reading, puzzles, hiking, and sharing meals and games with the people she loves.
About the Babb Center
The Babb Center for Counseling is the counseling ministry of First Baptist Church Hendersonville, serving the community since 1995.
