How scheduling works

    Call the Babb Center at (615) 824-3772 for a referral to Julie, or email julie@inhousemediation.com.

    Conflict check and availability.

  3. 3

    Julie holds separate, confidential intake and domestic-violence screening with each party.

  4. 4

    Counsel may share a brief confidential pre-mediation summary by email.

  5. 5

    The session.

  6. 6

    A written memorandum of agreements reached, for counsel's review. Any report to the court is limited to agreement or impasse, as Rule 31 provides.

Parties and children have access to Babb Center counseling, kept fully separate from the mediation.

Conflict-of-interest policy

Julie does not mediate for anyone who is, or ever has been, her counseling client. Before mediation begins, she discloses any relationship she is aware of between any party and the Babb Center, and mediation proceeds only if all parties agree in writing. Mediation files are kept separate from counseling records.
